The first build slot for the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport was sold at the Pebble Beach auction in 2008 for a whopping $2.9 million. It was a Targa model with a removable polycarbonate roof. The Grand Sport roadster model boasts a top speed of 253 mph when the roof is in place and 223.7 mph when the roof is stowed away.
